held and when you you were appointed DG of SMEDAN?
2. Congratulation on your reappointment as DG of SMEDAN by President Muhammadu Buhari
recently, what are some of the fresh input you are bringing to the table?
3. Many are of the view that the agency has not done enough towards job creation for our
teeming youths considering the increasing rate of unemployment in country, would you say that
SMEDAN under your watch has actualized its mandate?
4. President Muhammadu Buhari promise to turnout 100m millionaires in 10 years and your
agency is an integral part that will drive the process, how prepare is SMEDAN to help
government achieve this laudable idea?
5. Insecurity is a monster bedeviling the nation and it is alleged that terrorist recruit its members
from Almajiri and out of school children in the North, is there any programme in place to engage
these army of jobless youths?
6. Over the years Small and Medium Enterprises (SME’s) in country has been struggling to survive
as many have closed shop because of small business owners inability to access loans, high
interest and exchange rate, lack of steady power supply and multiple taxation, how are you
coping with these challenges in your effort to develop the sector?
7. This administration promised to revive textile industries, electricity as well as Ajaokuta Rolling
Mill to enhance industrialization in the country, but almost 6 years down the line the Buhari
government is yet to fulfill any of these promises, what is your take?
8. Nigerians have expressed doubt over recent approval of $1.5 billion for immediate
rehabilitation of Port Harcourt refinery, they believe the money is meant for 2023 election
because previous administration did earmarked similar amount for the same purpose, can’t
such amount be use for the construction of new refinery?

10. With the nation’s inflation put at 17.33 per cent in February 2021 there is every indication that
Nigerians will face more hardship this year, is there any incentives to improve the capacity of
the SME’s towards employment generation?
11. Some Northern leaders are pushing for armed bandits to be given amnesty, do you support or
against amnesty for bandits?
