Glycon Antiacnee Cream

Effectiveness and Results

Assessment

During our practice of more than 15 years in Aesthetic Surgery, we have been facing
the challange to get the best results in the acnee treatment by chemical peeling with
AHA acids.

We have chosen the glycolic acid because it has the smallest molecule and ensures the
deepest penetretion of the skin and has an excelent exfoliation power.

In order to be able to use a higher concentration of acid in chemical peeling, the skin
should be prepare and acustomed, in advance, with the glycolic acid. And the best way
to do that was by using a face cream with glycolic acid.

To this aim, we used Glycon Antiacnee Cream with 7 % glycolic acid, manufactured by
ETERA Prod SRL, and the indications of the cream usage was recommended as
follows :

In the first week of treatment the Glycon cream should be applied on the clean face
every other night, in the second week the Glycon cream should be applied every night
and from the third week every day, in the morning and at night.

The cream should to be applied gently, in a thin layer without massage.

After the first week of treatment, it is expected a discharge from the acne spots and
patients were advised to apply betadine 10% solution on the whole face, for disinfection
effect, every night before going to bed, for 7 days.

After three months, the results were impressive, the skin became free of acnee spots,
smoother, with a healthy and luminous look.

Sometimes a chemical peeling, using glycolic acid 35% solution was performed, but for
the most of the young patients it was not compulsory because the results of the cream
use only, were enogh.
The glycolic acid in Glycon Antiacnee Cream had entirely proved its three main actions,
that we summarise bellow :

- Breaks the intercellular connection on the superficial layers of epidermis, with

peeling effect and liberates the top of the sebaceous gland canal locked by
oxidized fatty acids from its secretion (known as black spots) and allows the
discharge of the sebaceous gland secretion.
- Deeply penetrates the granulosum layer of the skin and stimulate cell
division. New cells will come up on the skin surface generating a younger
aspect.
- Stimulates Collagen type 1 and Hyaluronic Acid production into the dermis
and the quality of the skin will be improved. Tissue healing and post acne
scars will have a good evolution, in terms of cosmetic appearance.

The patients using Glycon Antiacnee Cream were also advised to take following
precautions:
-not to use any other cosmetic cream, in order not to influense the cream effect
-not to use locally antibiotics, retinoids and retinoids-like drugs, salicylic acid, dapsone.
-not to use soap or washing gel to clean the face, only plane water.
-avoid touching the face with hands during the day.
-avoid hair contact with face skin, as it is a strong attraction for dust particle and
contaminates the skin.

Even the skin appearance improved, we advise the patients to use constantly the
Glycon Antiacne Cream.

Antiacnee Cream.
