development of sustainable agriculture and in the agribusiness industry with more than 30
years of experience in India and abroad.

technologies and solutions for the expansion of sustainable agriculture. With a substantial
presence in the supply chains for seeds, plant nutrition, crop protection, and post-harvest
food preservation, UPL is one of the top-growing agri-input companies in the world today
under the direction of Jaidev Shroff. He had a key role in changing UPL from a mostly
domestic player to a fully Indian multinational corporation. UPL employs a workforce from
more than 75 different nationalities and has manufacturing facilities in 48 different countries.
