 eop modules feature a similar course design method as

alternative term for teaching eanglish as a 2nd language
 ESP is "an approach" rather tha a product ( approach
means that it involes, it does not involves a particular
kind of methidology material or language)

significant role in foreign language learning)
EAP VS EOP
according to H @ W , there is not a precise distinction
between EAP and eop. People can work and study
simulataneously because language learnt for immediate use
in a study environment will be used later when the student
takes up, or return to a job.
WHAT IS EOP?
It trains individuals to perform on the job, using english to
communicate. It is useful for training of lawyers for instance
and administrative chiefs aiming at reaching a proficiency
level.
 Is a branch of ESP and covers situational in which
learners are studying English for work related reasons.
The courses are based on an analysis of their specific
communicative needs in their work. ( it is according to
their chosen career as , it is a work related purpose of
learning english and it aims to provide instruction that
addresses the needs and lacks the learners. regarding
their career goals for.)
 eop learned by the students to learn to convince or
persuade someone or something related to their job.
 eop is for those who are already employed with an
emphasis on the language used in the job performance
WHAT IS EAP?
It is applied for common core elements also known as "study
skill". It consist of writing academic text, taking notes and
observations, listening to academic discourses and making
presentations.

commmon forms of ESP. It entails to train student
usually in a higher education setting, to use language
appropriately for study/
 It focuses instructions skills required to perform in an
English- speaking academic.
 eap is a program for both english and non english
speackers, it gives time and freedom to student to focus
on writing critical reading and research skills.
