OF BARANGAY MAUSWAGON, MARAGUSAN, DAVAO DE ORO. WHEREAS, Resolution No. 1 series 2021 of Guardians Republican Intemational Inc. of Barangay Mauswagon, re: “Resolution requesting the Municipal Sangguniang Bayan of the Municipality of Maragusan, Davao de Oro headed by Hon. Vice Mayor Cesar C. Colina, St. t0 accredit the Guardians Republican International Inc. of Barangay Mauswagon, Maragusan, Davao dle Oro”. was submitted to the Office of the Secretary to the Sanggunian on June 25, 2021; WHEREAS, The Resolution was calendared on the 26" Regular Session of the Sangguniang Bayan on June 28, 2021 and subsequently referred to the Committee on Rules, Laws & Ordinances, Legal Matters. and Economic Enterprise: WHEREAS, Article 62, Rule XIII of the Implementing Rules and Regulations of RA 7160 otherwise known as the Local Government Code of 1991 mandated local government units to promote the establishment and operation of people's organizations, non-governmental organizations, and the private sector, to make them active partners in the pursuit of local autonomy, and to directly involve them in the plans, programs, projects or activities of the local government unit, such as, but not limited to, membership in Local Special Bodies (LSBs) and involvement in the delivery of basic services and facilities; WHEREAS, Pursuant to the aforementioned provision and in conformity to Article 64 of the same Code, the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) issued ‘Memorandum Circular No. 2019-72 which provided guidelines on the accreditation of Civil aera etn rs aan ie UnpaERIRRRER ERR EERE EERO ‘esolation No, 201 srs 2021 ‘eige!Society Organizations (CSOs) and the selection of representatives to the Local Special Bodies (LSBs); WHEREAS, The Municipal Government of Maragusan acknowledged the indispensible role of the Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) in attaining sustainable development and promoting social values and civic goals in the municipality: WHEREAS, Guardians Republican International Inc. of Barangay Mauswagon, is @ multi sectoral organization duly accredited by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) which aimed, among others, to uplift the socio-economic well-being not only of its members but of the ‘whole community in the context of peaceful and ecologically balanced Maragusan: WHEREAS, The Committee on Rules. Laws. Legal Matters, and Economic Enterprise conducted its 25% Committee Meeting on July 6, 2021 and recommended for the accreditation of Guardians Republican International Inc. of Barangay Mauswagon after having duly reviewed the documents of the organization submitted to the Chamber. WHEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, To accredit, as this August Body is hereby accrediting the Guardians Republican Intemational Inc. of Barangay Mauswagon, Maragusen, Devao de Oro.
