- Believe in their organization/movement and what
they are doing. What they are doing is usually the
best.
- They don’t need anyone from other organization to
tell what to do or correct them.
- If they have relationships is usually only with
internal peers at very loose level – “how to” or
stimulus to competition.

 Recommendations:
- First establish external relationships with people
from other organizations/churches.

- Develop upward mentoring with people from


external to the organization.

- Learning from other external peers will lead to


learning from upward mentors and then internal
peers.

organization.

- They are usually aware of how to work the system


for their benefit. /promotional reasons/.

 Few people can maintain relationships in all these
directions simultaneously.
 Despite of that it dose remain a goal that beckons
us to evaluate our needs. /gives idea which kinds
mentoring we need focus on now/.
 Once the model is known and the value of kinds of
relationships of each quadrants are seen we have
something that can guide us.
 We should guard both upward and downward
mentoring relationships and seek to have these on
some frequent basis
