It was Friday 15th, Ethan had a new videogame for which he waited the whole week to be able to

play it with no interruption. On the game case it said that there were a few magic challenges but the
main mission was to defeat the bad wizard.

He put it in the game console and that was the moment when he lost his touch with the reality. His
bedroom was turned into a stone room and he was dressed in a long coat with big sleeves. Ethan
had no idea what to do, until a voice started explaining him what that game was really about and
how it seemed that he was the chosen one.

The voice told him where he had to go and what he needs to get to be more powerful than the
Malfagos, the enemy. The boy just wanted to press a button and go back to his room or at least be
taught how to use the “magic powers”, unfortunately he was on his own in that moment.

After the first level he found his wand and received little instruction from the voice on how to use it.
In the next three levels he gathered skills as speed, strenght and learned some spells to help him
capture the wizard.

The voice announced the start of level five once Ethan entered the new scene, a dark forest. He had
been going for half an hour when he was attacked. He would rather stay in place frozen if he
wouldn’t think how much he wanted to be back in reality. Somehow the spells learned were useful
and helped him protect himself and hurt the wizard too.

At the end of the duel he was back in his bedroom with no wand and the game wasn’t working
anymore.

He knew he could never tell anyone because they would never believe him.
