AIM :
Design a logical gate based system that activates a security alarm when both the lights
available in a house are turned off.
Hint: Use NOR gate.

Design a logical gate based system that activates a security alarm when both the doors of a
showroom are locked
Hint: Use NAND gate.

Design a logical gate based system that activates a camera available at entry of house when
someone presses the doorbell or when someone stands on footmat near gate. Ensure that if
someone presses the doorbell while standing over the footmat, the doorbell does not ring.
Hint: Use XOR gate.

Task to be done:
1. To create the circuit using logic gates according to which activates
the alarm when both the lights available in house are turned off.
(NOR GATE)
2. To create the circuit using logic gates according to which activates
the alarm when both gate are locked of a showroom.(NAND GATE)
3. To create the circuit using logic gates according to which activates
the camera of the main door when either the person stand on
footmat or rings the bell.(XOR GATE)

Learning/ observation
To verify the Block Diagram of Logic Gates, the suitable IC is taken and the connections are
given using the circuit diagram. For all the ICs, 5V is applied to the pin 14 while the pin 7 is
connected to the ground. The logical inputs of the Block Diagram are applied and the
corresponding output is shown.

Troubleshooting
In the software tinker cad i used push button for the simulation and then I got to know we
cannot press two push bottoms at the same time, so i used slide switch instead of push
button.
