Upon return to duty in November 2018, after a year on study leave, I
have been designated as the Instruction Coordinator. As Instruction Coordinator, I have been tasked to help in the review of syllabi submitted at the Office of the Dean. Hence, at the opening of the second semester 2018, I have assisted the office in reviewing the correctness of the entry and format of the syllabi submitted by the teachers of the different subjects from all the courses offered by Bicol University College of Education. Those syllabi with errors have been returned to the teachers concerned for proper editing and correction. After a second (and even third) round of review and when all entries and the format have been found to be free of error, I affixed my initials under the name of the Dean as a proof that the document has been properly reviewed, edited and corrected.
On one occasion, I have also been asked by the Associate Dean to
give the closing remarks during a program. The said program was held for the purpose of welcoming the three SEA Teachers (Student teachers from Indonesia and Thailand) and the five Erasmus Mundus scholars from Palawan State University.
