Pig Location Receiver

The PE Pig Location Receiver is a receiving device for electromagnetic pig location
transmitters. The receiver is equipped with state of the art electronics to guarantee a positive
and reliable reception of the signal put out by the electromagnetic transmitter attatched to the
pig.

As the receiver has a combination of analogue and digital filtering devices, the signal received
from the transmitter will be filtered out from any interfering signals. Additionally, the signals
will be confirmed by the software analysis package prior to being displayed on the LCD
screen.

The PE Receiver unit is suitable for either manual or remote operation. In both modes when
signals are received from a transmitter the unit records both the actual time of passage (in
real time) and the number of signals received. Both can be viewed instantaneously and stored
within the unit for reference at a later date.

All information is viewed via a 4x20 digital alpha numerical LCD display screen. The signal
strength is displayed on the screen as a bar graph and is also emitted audibly using a sound
converter.
