Adverb

1) In some sentence adverbs show “how” property.


Example –She smiles so sweetly.
In this sentence word sweetly describe more about the verb “smile”.

2) In other case adverbs indicate “where” the action is done.


Example – Come inside.
In this sentence “inside” is an adverb. It is the place where the action is done.
 
3) Adverbs are also used to tell “when” the incident happened.
Example – I went to school yesterday.
Here “yesterday” is an adverb. It tells us when the action is done.
So, we can say the adverbs tells us how, where and when the action is done. It
adds meaning to the verb.
