Inspired by this quote, the Napa Seafood Foundation (NSF) is a non-profit organization
created to improve the living conditions of disadvantaged communities through the
resources pro- vided by the seafood industry. The NSF provides meaningful participation
in corporate social responsibility (CSr) activities for the seafood industry.

Every project involves a motivated beneficiary in need and a locally represented seafood
com- pany acting as an implementing agent. With the guidance of NSF and these
corporate partners, resources are invested into the infrastructure to execute a
sustainable project. NSF and local corporate partners lend their global expertise to the
community to ensure on-going support for their success. our partner companies come from
the network of the Napa Seafood Summit (NSS) and have years of experience enabling
them to support small-scale fishing and aquacul- ture related programs. To achieve
success, the project can access key competencies from the global NSS network. our
team works closely to ensure that every dollar is accounted for and provides reports of
the progress to our donors. our aim is not to dispense charity, but rather teach people
self-sufficiency and how to improve their quality of life through small-scale fishing and
aquaculture.

our vision for the Napa Seafood Summit is to host a forum that brings together leaders
across the seafood industry to discuss and address the ever-changing conditions that affect
responsible production, marketing, and consumption of quality seafood. This inspiring and
thought-provoking environment is created to facilitate idea sharing, helping to achieve our
foundation’s core goals.

The NSF cannot achieve its goals without the assistance of donations from members of
our community. Your contribution is greatly appreciated.
