Notice regarding Pre–Nursery & Nursery Admission for the Session (2023-2024)
Delhi Public School, Bokaro has always believed that every child is unique and has the potential to
perform. The school does not believe in discriminating children, rather to safeguard the interest of
the students being admitted, keeping a scientific approach, the school intends to verify that the child
belongs to the age group specified and the parents are ready to own responsibility of the child’s
development with the school’s approach to holistic education.
Online Registration link for admission to Pre – Nursery and Nursery Classes for the Academic Session
2023-2024 will be available from 29.09.2022 to 05.11.2022 only on the school website
http://www.dpsbokaro.com. Only online registration will be accepted.
Age Criteria
 Pre-Nursery: Children between the age of 2.5 years to 3.5 years as on 31st March 2023 are
eligible for admission to class Pre-Nursery (Session 2023-2024).
 Nursery: Children between the age of 3.5 years to 4.5 years as on 31st March 2023 are eligible
for admission to class Nursery (Session 2023-2024).
 Date of Birth Certificate of the child must have been obtained within a year of the child's birth. It
should be issued from Municipal Corporation / BGH.
The basis of selection for admission to classes Pre-Nursery and Nursery (2023-24) will be on the points
accrued by the child based on the parameters given in Annexure I (Selection Parameters displayed
online.). Based on these points, students for about 75% of available seats will be selected directly (in
case the number of students who have accrued the highest points exceeds the number of available 75% of
seats, the school may go for draw of lots for the direct admission). The remaining 25% will be followed
by a draw of lots. The percentage may vary depending upon the identical total points of two or more
candidates. The parents are therefore urged to fill the form accordingly.
Only those parents who are staying with their children in Bokaro should apply, as it is imperative that
the children stay with their parents at least up to Class V.
It is essential that the parents fill the forms themselves in order to avoid any confusion or wrong entry.
They should thoroughly go through the instructions given.
Only parents (Father or Mother) are required to come personally to submit the hard copy (printouts) of
the Online Registration Form and Payment Acknowledgement Slip. Parents are also required to bring
original documents/proof and one self-attested copy of the documents to authenticate the particulars filled
in the form for verification.
The date for submission of the completed hard copy of the Online Registration Form will be intimated
on 07.11.2022 by 05.00 p.m.
Documentary evidence in original should be available for all the information submitted / points claimed
in the registration form which may be verified from the concerned University / Authority / College /
Employer. Once the form is submitted the responsibility for the authenticity of information filled in the
form will be of the parent and no modification or concession will be granted at the time of document
verification. The school reserves the right to cancel the admission of any student if the information
provided by the parents in the registration form is found to be incorrect.
Applications are liable to be rejected on submission of wrong or incomplete information / failing in
criteria in the online registration form. No request whatsoever in this regard will be entertained.
