O verbo to be também tem uma forma abreviada, que todos nós, como pessoas práticas que
somos, usamos quando estamos com preguiça ou com pressa. A forma contracta se forma
basicamente colocando um apóstrofe no lugar da primeira letra. Por exemplo:

I’m a good girl

He’s a photographer

They’re very tired
