a. ensure all conditions requiring clarification
are detailed
5. Verify that window/door openings match
building sections
6. Openings/penetrations:
a. doors/windows/grilles/vents/firefighting
access panels
b. dimensions to intermediate mullions for
door frames/windows or
c. reference numbers for each door frame/
window type cross-referenced to drawings
where large-scale elevations placed
7. Attachments:
a. light fixtures/receptacles/siamese
connections/signage/downspouts/
flagpoles, etc.
8. Structural grid lines with reference symbols
9. Locations of interior/hidden levels:
a. floors
b. finish floor level/elevation for each floor
level
c. flat roofs behind parapets
10. Vertical dimensions:
a. to doors/windows/other important items
requiring location
b. floor to floor or floor to roof when not
shown on building sections
11. Exterior construction materials:
a. graphically/notations – cross-check that
terminology/abbreviations used for
materials same as in specifications
b. masonry control joints
c. expansion joints
12. Roof-mounted mechanical equipment which
affects appearance of building
