I guess I am getting used to Albuquerque, I know I haven't written since I left home but I recently
managed to settled myself in this city, like many cities nowadays, Albuquerque is largely segregated too,
with black residents living in distinct neighborhoods and socializing primarily with one another.
Within the community, there is a strong sense of mutual support and solidarity, as black residents faced
discrimination and marginalization in many areas of life. In New Mexico racial segregation is not legally
mandated, however discrimination and prejudice is still common. People living in my block has political
ideas and movements in Albuquerque that aims to address racial inequality and promote civil rights such
as the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People. I recently attended to their social
and cultural events at local churches, community centers, advocating for greater rights and
opportunities. well seems like 1920's being a time of cultural and artistic flourishing for black
communities, with the Harlem Renaissance and other movements bringing a new sense of pride and
expression to black culture the events thankfully had positive effects on our community.

I have an Apartment, with little outdoor space. It has one small and cramped bedroom with low ceiling
and little natural light, kitchen with barely enough room for me to cook and a bathroom that has a single
bathtub, a toilet, and a sink but that is enough for my needs for now. I didn't quite got used to cooking in
my apartment so I frequently eat in local diners or restaurants, my comfort food is chili con carne or
enchiliadas the people in here really knows how to cook. as I always wanted I finally got occupated as a
Jazz musician I am performing in a local club but sadly I am struggling to make a living from my music
alone, until I get famous enough to earn more I hope but for now I have day jobs such as working in
factories. well I guess that's all. I am expecting letters back from you.

With sincerest regards.
