Lesson Materials

1. Lesson folders

For this course, there are at least 7 lessons available in the folder named "Individual
Lessons".
You are encouraged to access the materials in these folders before lessons during lessons
and after lessons.
Please note that you and your teacher will not have enough time in class to go through all of
the materials in all 7 lessons. Therefore it is up to you to make sure that you cover all the
material whether it is covered in class or not.
Even if something is not covered in class time with your teacher it could still be in the exam.

2. Grammar Way

You are also expected to use your grammar reference book (Grammar way 3) to help you
prepare for assessments. A lesson folder may contain information and exercises about one
particular topic, such as  The Present Simple, You will need to do extra work on that topic by
yourself to make sure that you understand what the topic means, how to use that grammar
item and so on.

2. The target vocabulary list(s)

You are expected to make full use of the part of the target vocabulary lists specified for this
course. Look at the words on the list(s): check that you understand what they mean and take
active steps to learn them.

Assessment Outline
The Final Assessment: (100%)

This assessment will test you on:

a. Material covered in Individual Lesson Folders 1 - 7;

b. Words between 0 and 1600 on the NGSL
