Matters arising from the meeting pertaining to the first two levels in the scales of the HTAC/AH 1; which indicates very negligible net pay after taxation, and hence the Technicians are therefore requesting special attention to the matter so that officers are not left “worst off” after the ‘Compensation Review is implemented. From the discussion and decisions of the twenty-three Animal Health and Artificial Insemination Technicians that were in attendance, we're all in agreement with the offer presented. We anticipate the positive outcome of the proposed follow-up discussions regarding the second reclassification exercise, the upgrading of the Job description and the change of the entry level to a bachelor’s degree for Animal, Health & Artificial Insemination Technicians. ‘Thanks for your kind assistance and understanding regarding this matter.
