Why is it important to know the factors affecting an individuals health?

Do you think that you are healthy? Explain your answer.

We all believe that, “Prevention is better than Cure”, and I think this is one of the reason why it
is very important for us to know the factors that affects our health. In order for us to have a healthy
lifestyle, we must know the Do’s and Don’ts, we have to be physically, mentally, and socially fit. We have
to know what compromises our health so that we are aware on what factors that may affect it.

Self-analysis is also important. You must know the limitations, and best to study human biology,
so you’ll know what are the factors that exceeds your health. You must know the things you like, hate
and want so you’ll know how to address them when it comes to your mental health. You must know
how to interact with other people within your environment so that you can implement a good
relationship and connection with other people. It is a very big help especially to our over-all well-being if
we know the factors that affects our health. We can prevent the instances that will put our health to
risks or to any kind of harm.

Am I healthy? To be honest, I think I am not. Yes, some days I do some exercise, most days are
not. I don’t have enough time to rest. I am always on my phone doing some stuffs and not fully aware
that I’m already staying up all night, my sleep schedule and body clock is messed up. There are instances
that I barely sleep because I’m stressing myself in the things I have no control over. I overthink a lot, and
I guess I’m also mentally unstable. I got this habit of detaching myself to anyone if I feel I’m not being
valued. I overlove and overcare and if I’m getting only the bare minimum, at always leads me to feel
absolutely nothing, like from 101 to 0 in a seconds. All those struggles in life made me stronger that led
me to only care for myself, and find that peace that my life deserves, whether if it means of cutting ties.
I am not physically, mentally, and socially healthy, but I’m working on it.
