Export Demurrage and Detention in Taiwan

Notes:
1. Import demurrage(IB DEM) shall commence with the same day of container discharge from
vessel and will end on the same day of container full gate-out for shipment(s) without intermodal
leg. Import demurrage(IB DEM) shall commence with the same day of last container gate-in of
the single Bill of Lading quantity and will end on the same day of container gate-out for
shipment(s) with intermodal leg.
2. Import detention(IB DET) shall commence with the same day of container full gate-out and will
end on the same day of container empty gate-in.

3. Export demurrage(OB DEM) shall commence with the same day of container full gate-in and
will end on the same day of cargo cut-off.
4. Export detention(OB DET) shall commence with the same day of empty container gate-out and
will end on the same day of container full gate-in.
5. Free-time and charging period are calculated by calendar day, i.e. including Saturdays, Sundays
& Public holidays.
6. The storage charge at port is included and the reefer plug-in & monitoring charges are not
included in this tariff.
7. Whatever CY or DOOR, all shipments are complied with the tariff.
8. Other special equipment like FS/OC/OM/OH/FQ/OQ/SR is equivalent to OT/FL/PL.
9. Terminated/Canceled export bookings will not enjoy free time.
10. Effective date: September 1st, 2021.
