lived there with my wife and four children for 20 years, but for the last three years we
have lived in the United States. Our children are now learning about life in the United
States. I'm sure they will be happier because they have lived in two countries. I like
Britain and I want to return, but my daughter, Felicity, is going to start college here soon,
so it won't be for another four years.
I have just been to England for six weeks to work on a radio programme about the English
language and also to talk about the book I've just written. Most writers don't like doing this;
they don't like travelling around the country, selling their book. I don't mind it. I like visiting
new places and meeting lots of people. It's very different from the life I have in the United
States when I'm writing. In England, people drove me around in big cars and I stayed in
expensive hotels. It was good because I didn't have to pay any bills. Everyone was kind to
me and it was fun.

physical activities like jogging, swimming, volleyball ... I feel more comfortable and
stronger playing these activities, so I spend at least 2 hours a day on sports and I often

Vũng Tàu beach was so beautiful at that time. The sea was calm and the water was
clean and blue. We went swimming, walking along the beach at dawn and took a lot of

I’m living in a small house in Bien Hoa city, Dong Nai province. It is so nice house
with a small garden in front of. Our house is designed by a good achitect so it is very
comfortable when we are in it. The house has 5 rooms including a living room, 3
bedrooms, a dinning room, a bathroom and a kitchen. All rooms are not big but cozy
Page 18 of REVISION G21
and in each room, we put some necessary furniture in a beautiful and scientific way.
In our house, I love dinning room the most for some reasons. The first, whenever we
have visiter, we usually invite them to stay and to have for meal with us in dinning room.
The second, It is place where my wife and I prepare meals everyday. Above all, dinning
room is where the members of my family meet with together every day and share
everything, especially, difficult things we are facing in our life. But, I don’t like bed rooms
because they are not big.
We love our house because it is our warm nest. Whenever we go, we’ll cherish it in
our heart. That’s all.
Thank you for listenning to me.

PART 3: EXTENDED DISCUSSION

1. Do men and women have the same activities in their free time?
We ussually have many attitudes for this, for me, I say that yes because following
reason. Firstly, the most of men and women all need to relax in their free time but they only
have different methods of relaxations. Secondly, nowaday, both men and women uses their
free time for go on the internet or social network.
2. How do leisure time affect our life?
The positive effects of leisure and play time include better problem solving, improved
work ethic, and improved creativity. Outside of a work performance realm, quality leisure
time has also been shown to help with wider psychological and cognitive wellbeing,
physical health, and quality of life. We really shouldn’t down play the importance of leisure
time.
3. What types of hobbies are popular in our country?
Off course, it goes without saying there is quite a mixed variety of popurlar sports in
my county. Though I think the most commonly – used would potentially be football. And
the explanation for this could be that they are so easy to play and suitable for all ages. The
football only need a ball and some people to play, football can play everywhere such as
stadium, park, street and so on.

It is becoming increasingly common for people to get in adventures and travel around the
world. Many people believe that making a journey is a way to expand knowledge and experiences. I
completely adhere to this idea for the two following reasons.
Firstly, travelling help people fully acknowledge the world. It is a journey to getting to
know about other people with different circumstances that will help traveler can learn so
much from their life stories. Secondly, people also deeply understand themselves through a
journey, who they are, what they really desire to do. For some people, they get in
adventures not just because of exploring the world, but they can have time for themselves.
In addition, when you visit a new country with different customs and traditions, it helps
people to get out of themselves and their normal routine.

that hepls us to have opportunities for increasingly relationship between members of
family.

There are many places to go on holiday in our country so it is difficult for me to say

water and smooth sand. Secondly, the weather is warm whole year that helps us to
organzie many activities outside together. Above all, It not only have nice beach and
weather but also have Ba Na Hill where is compared to fairyland.

There are many different choices of transports when we go on holiday is that it

come destinations where I want to visit. Above all, airplanes take me to place where I want
to go on holiday more quickly.

where many tourists want to visit such as Ha Long bay, Ha Noi cappital, Da Nang city, Ho
Chi Minh city and so on. Sencondly, There are many special foods of Vietnamese that many

Travel is one of my hobbies, especially, in my holiday. Between spending my holiday
in our country and spending my holiday in a foreign country are intersting choices. In my

To talk about differences between houses in the city and in the countryside, for me,

in the countryside. Secondly, they are usually built next to together and they are built in
smaller space than in countryside.
15. Where do you prefer to live, in the city or in the country?
Choice between living in a small town and living in a big city depens on the
