    MOVE UP PLACEMENT TEST

    This test has been designed to be used for placing students into groups corresponding to four levels of the Heinemann
    Move Up series: Elementary, Pre-intermediate, Intermediate, and Advanced.

    Students with no previous knowledge of English at all would not normally be required to take the test, the Starter level
    being specifically designed for these students.

    The test includes a Language Usage and a Vocabulary section.

    Students should be given 60 minutes to do the 120-item test.
