• Attendance and commitment do count for


you to achieve the very best results.
• Tardiness is considered up to 15 minutes past the
official class-start time. Tardiness of more than 15
minutes is counted as one full hour of absence.
The same counts if you leave classes more than 15
minutes before the end of the class. However, you
TARDINESS are allowed to join the class any time.
AND ABSENCES

• Absences, whatever reason you may have, should


not exceed 8 pedagogical hours.

• Both, tardiness and absences, affect your grades


since they are based on evidence of your quality
class performance. Therefore, there is no room to
justify them.

Two (2) performance grades
A (mid-term and final).

Special Assignment Tasks Grade: It includes 1


ADVANCED LEVEL B GBWT, 1 Debate and your Graded Score on CLMS
EVALUATION (50% performance access to the CLMS and 50%
online mandatory tests: either (2) two Unit
Progress Tests, or (1) one Unit Progress Test + (1)
one Mid-Competency Test or (1) one End
Competency Test).

C One (1) final written exam.


Mandatory Tests:
• Courses with Mid-Competency Tests: IB2,IB8, II2, II8, AC1-1, AC1-6, SI1, SI4, SIN1, SIN4, SAV1, SAV3.
• Courses with End-Competency Tests: IB5, IB11, II5, II10, AC1-3, AC1-8, SI3, SI6, SIN3, SIN5, SAV2,
SAV4.
• The rest of courses not mentioned above are the ones with two (2) Unit Progress Tests at the end of
each course.

CLMS: Cambridge Learning Management System.


A TWO (2) OVERALL PERFORMANCE GRADES

On the 8th and 16th day of class1, teachers award a Mid and a Final Term Grade:

To do this, grades (0-4) are added in each period.


The grade is obtained according to a chart of equivalences.
Example: 3+2+3=80

1On Saturday courses: on the 4th and 8th Saturday.


B SPECIAL ASSIGNMENT TASKS GRADES

There are three (3) activities that will be awarded according to your performance:

A: GRADED BOOK WRITING TASK (GBWT) = (0-4)


B: CAMBRIDGE LMS (CLMS)= (0-4)
C: DEBATE = (0-4)

fail to participate in any of them you’ll get
a partial grade of “0”.

B SPECIAL ASSIGNMENT TASKS GRADES

Teachers will create classes in CLMS and lock content at the end of the course
according to the following chart:

C FINAL EXAM

The final exam is a 90 minute exam


administered the 17th day of class
and it is graded from 0 to 100.

If you study on Saturdays, the Final Exam is


programmed on the 8th Saturday.
