Commited to your learning process!

You are co-responsible of this process.

• It’s permanent and ongoing, based on
evidence of your quality performance.

OUR ASSESSMENT • Performance is based on rubrics and

guidelines, which are public on PAIDEIA
AND EVALUATION
Idiomas - PAIDEIA – Inglés (Empower).
Please, get familiar with them.

• Attendance and commitment do count for

you to achieve the very best results.
• Tardiness is considered from minute 16 to minute 30
past the official class-start time. The same applies if
you leave or disconnect from classes more than 15
minutes before the end of the hour. Every two (2)
times you register a tardiness, it counts as one hour of
absence.

• Absences: Connecting more than 30’ late, or leaving

TARDINESS your class more than 30’ earlier, is considered as an
AND ABSENCES hour of absence. This is the list of limit of absences per
frequency:
• Regular (Mon-Fri), Saturday, Intensive and Interdaily
Classes: 8 pedagogical hours
• Superintensive: 16 pedagogical hours, but you must not
exceed 12 consecutive pedagogical hours.
• SpeedUp: 32 pedagogical hours, but you must not
exceed 12 consecutive pedagogical hours.

• Both tardiness and absences, affect your grades since

they are based on evidence of your class performance.
Therefore, there is no justification for any of them.

camera and microphone on to participate and be assessed
according to your oral production (check rubrics in Paideia
Idiomas)
Be sure to enable and activate all the permissions in
your browsers:
Finally, you should always check and read the Announcements posted
in CLMS, and sent to you mail. These are the means for constant
communication between you and your teacher:
