The CAE Preparatory Course has been especially designed for people who want to sit the Cambridge C1

Advanced Exam (CAE) from Cambridge English Language Assessment. This course will extend your
knowledge of the English language and at the same time provide you with the strategies necessary to enable
you to take the CAE Exam. Please, read the following information carefully before applying to register. The
course will be delivered via ZOOM.

CAE PARTICIPANTS Regular attendance and punctuality are vital.
• All participants are expected to have regular attendance for each CAE cycle in

• This means that students will be considered as FDA (Fail Due to Absences) and the
EVALUATION cycle will be considered as incomplete if they do not complete the minimum of
hours of attendance during the cycle (13), but will still be permitted to continue
studying in the next CAE cycle.
• Participants who fail two cycles (obtain grade D) will not be allowed to enrol on
the next cycle.

Certificates will be issued at the end of the course (CAE 5) to participants gaining an
CERTIFICATION overall passing grade (A, B or C) based on their performance and who have complied
with the minimum attendance for each of the 5 cycles.
Information about performance during the course will be recorded on the certificate.

• Besides, you must send the scanned document (or a clear photograph) to
admisionconcertificado@britanico.edu.pe
• If you do not have the certifications needed, you can sit a placement test, which
consists of two parts:
- An interview: If you have studied at BRITANICO in the past, you must go to
CAMPUS, click on "Venta Textos, Merch, Servicios" and then select: Centro:
"San Isidro" Categoría: "Exámenes", ítem de venta: "Examen" (click on the
magnifying glass), type "1" and tick the box to accept "Términos y
Condiciones". Finally, click on "Reservar". The cost of the first part of tahe
placement test (interview) is 20 soles.
- If you obtain a satisfactory result, you will be contacted to sit an online written
test. It is important to mention that the cost of the second part of the
placement test (written test) is 15 soles.
