Projects •L-EXTRACTION OF DYE FROM HIBISCUS FLOWER AND APPLICATION OF IT ON WOOL, HUMAN HAIR
Description : Project is based on Extraction of dye from Hibiscus Flower and Application of
it on Wool. We focused our project on Extraction of Natural dye which used
in Textile industries. In the present study, the dyeing colors present in flowers
of hibiscus were extracted by using three different extraction methods
namely acid, alcohol, aqueous and wool substrate has been dyed. The
different shade yellowish color was obtained from the dye thus the color
extract from hibiscus can used for coloration of wool fabric.
