CLONING

Cloning, interesting concept and usually

something we only see in movies. But how far
are we today in 2022 from being able to clone
people. Well in 1996 sheep Dolly was the first
ever animal to be cloned and that caused
massive boom in society, as many were worried
if people were next. But if really think about it
and take some facts into consideration as the
fact that after Dolly experiment ban on human
cloning was immediately put into effect in about
70 countries and just how much resources are
needed for it to be there is no real threat as of
yet. But lets say it was possible to mass clone
people, what then. Well there are few problems
right from the gate with that. For example if we
were really able to mass clone people what is
stopping a force like USA or Russia from finding
one „super solider“ and mass cloning him and
making an army consisted of only super
soliders. Wouldn't conquering the world be easy
then. Or if there were multiple clones of some
people. And one of them committed a crime,
how would we be able to know which one did it?
Or what about security, biometric scanners like
those fingerprints on phones and so on, if we
have clones of ourselves they would have same
fingerprint and thus be able to go past security
measures. And that is even without me
mentioning the fact that clone of us could just
say that they are us and other people couldn't
tell the difference without questioning of some
sort. And I read that one person wrote a thesis
of some sort if we were able to mass clone
people that those clones would be kind of
„working class“ or class subordinated to us
„normal“ humans and thus creating new system.
All in all I think cloning humans should never be
something we meddle in as it is „playing God“ in
one hand. On the other hand cloning organs or
tissues could be debatable.
