Personally, I think the case of Hae Min Lee’s disappearance and homicide has a lot of loose

screws. At first, I was really sure that Adnan was completely guilty of Hae’s murder; however,
when we started listening to more episodes, I started to doubt myself and my own deductions.

In the present moment, I stand against Adnan. Excluding Jay’s testimony, which is pretty much
inconsistent and unreliable, there are many other pieces of information that I have used to back
up my argument. First of all, I find the whole situation of Adnan allowing Jay to borrow his car
the day the murder occurred a bit sketchy, because it wasn´t Jay’s idea to, somehow, have in his
possession Adnan’s car; Adnan was the one that wanted to take Jay to the mall so they could
buy a birthday present for Stephanie (Jay’s girlfriend), so Jay couldn’t have borrowed Adnan’s
car and then proceed to plan a whole murder of someone he barely knew. One of my personal
favourites is the fact that Adnan asked Hae for a ride after school the day of the murder, despite
having his own car; it doesn’t get any better because later he even denies having asked Hae for a
ride, when he actually admitted it to the police and was heard by other witnesses before.
