White Rabbit, character in Alice's Adventures in Wonderland (1865), a children's
classic by Lewis Carroll. The White Rabbit—who reappears several times in the story— wears a waistcoat, carries a pocket watch, and is always in a great hurry, anticipating the fury of the Duchess at his tardiness (Britannica). In Alice in Wonderland, Mr. Rabbit and Alice had a conversation where Mr. Rabbit told Alice that “Many people have come and gone from Wonderland, but only the most special ones discover what it’s truly about”, Alice asked “Finding love?” and Mr. Rabbit responded, “Finding yourself”. For me, Mr. Rabbit symbolizes myself as I am still and will forever be in a journey where I will be finding myself. I will not come to the end where I can finally say I am who I am because I believe I will be constantly evolving and I hope it is for the better. I also have this value that I live by, “don’t settle for what you think is the best, because there is always a room for improvement, to be better”. In my body painting, I used body crayons for they are the easiest to use.
