The people’s demand for travel could be for leisure or work-related purposes. To fulfill these
needs, leisure travelers will cooperate with various travel agencies. While business travelers’
travel needs are often handled by their companies’ Corporate Travel Agency/Management. The
latter serve as the intermediaries. This means that they are the ones who will directly negotiate
with travel vendors/suppliers, as well as manage travel arrangements like booking tickets while
actively communicating with travel consumers. They are links that allow suppliers like hotels and
airlines to reach both leisure and business travelers.
