What is Prosocial Behaviour?

Prosocial behaviour, or the aim to benefit others, is a social action that "benefit[s]
other people or society as a whole," such as "helping, sharing, contributing,
cooperating, and volunteering." Obeying the rules and complying to socially
acceptable acts are also considered prosocial habits.

Culture is greater than the sum of its parts (but only if everyone works together and
follows the rules). Relationships are formed through prosocial behaviour and
relationships are destroyed by antisocial behaviour.

These pictures show that prosocial behaviours are those intended to help other
people. Behaviours that can be described as prosocial include feeling empathy and
concern for others.
