Give your own definition/meaning of MORPHOLOGY by giving a word, phrase, or sentence for each letter.

M - Morpheme is the smallest-bearing unit in a language


O - One element and a number of other elements
R - Recieve, this word can identify bound morphemes (re)  but the (cieve) are not
seperated hence cannot be a free morpheme.
P - Prefixes such as re-, pre-, ex-, mis-, co-, un- and many more are list of derivational
morpheme
H- Happy is a word which end in the -y adjective derivational morpheme.
O - Over-generalise morphological rules when children learn inflectional morphemes.
L - Lexical morphemes is a words that have meaning by themselves
O - Often with new meanings, bound morphemes attach to free morphemes to form
new words.
G - Gender, quantity, person, or  tense in Inflectional morphemes influence the base
words to signal a change while leaving the base word's class unchanged.
Y - y suffix is a derivational morpheme
