RYOHEI TSURUTA

Born in Fukuoka, Chef Ryohei

Tsuruta trained in his hometown
perfecting his craft in Izakayas and
traditional Japanese restaurants.

His teachers include Mr. Meida from

Kyoto’s Tankuma restaurant, through
which his thoughtful dishes continue
to amaze his diners.

Ryohei is also certified by Singapore’s

Culinary School and has received
much commendation for his dashi
and tempura preparations.

Through Furusato, he hopes to bring

diners back to the culinary memories
of a Japanese Hometown
