Description
The Zarat oil and gas field overlaps two licences, the 7th of November Block (Tunisia/Libya)
and the Zarat Licence (Tunisia). The field is seen as 60% in the Zarat licence acreage and
40% in the 7th of November Block.

The proposed development will comprise of two phases, with the first aiming for four
production wells and production facilities to process and export 20,000 b/d of oil and 100
MMcf/d of raw gas. Phase two will see the drilling of a further four development wells with
expanded facilities to increase capacity to 40,000 b/d and 200 MMcf/d of gas.

Original plans for a development included using an FPSO vessel. Other development options
could involve a production platform, quarters platform and leased FSO. Also considered was
for a tie-back to PA’s nearby Didon facilities.

The Zarat's execution plans outlined by ETAP are as follow:

2021: FEED

2022-2023: Execution

2024: Installation

2025: First oil & gas

The field holds an estimated recoverable reserves of 147 MMboe.

The block is in water depths ranging from 75-115m.
