Answer the following questions as completely as possible.

1. Who am I in society? What are my roles in society?

My role as a student in society is to participate and contribute to the

betterment of the community's well-being and social cohesion. I also want

to bring people equality by helping them in different ways and eliminating

discrimination among all social, racial, religious, and ethnic groups.

Because for us to have a society free from injustice and violence, we

should accept and respect each other for who they are. Treating each other

with kindness and respect keeps us from isolation and insecurity.

2. What social institution (ex. Religion, family, education, etc.) has

affected me the most as of now? Explain and give an example.

Among the different social institutions, the one that has affected me the

most as of now is Education. It helps me grow as a person, develop my

abilities to the full extent, and get the best out of myself. For example,

in my first year of college as an interior design student, my plates were

not that great because they lacked standard specifications, requirements,

etc., but now that I'm in my last year, I can confidently say that I

improved.

3. What is your view/perspective on indigenous groups in the Philippines?

Explain.

The indigenous groups in the Philippines are the living history that

brings the historical past to life. They are the ones who shaped our

community, helped protect our environment, and made innovations such as

the Banaue rice terraces situated in the Cordilleras of Luzon island. For

me, the indigenous people should have the recognition they deserve because

they did so much for the country. Yet, they're still neglected and
discriminated against and suffer from stigmatization and racism.

Indigenous people are part of who we are today, and we should educate

ourselves instead of being ignorant.
