Facebook.

For Facebook, the main areas that can be


customized are:

A. Profile ‘picture’. Ue the 3D IH globe.

B. Cover image. This area can be personalised


to reflect the unique flavour of your school.
It could contain a photograph, or even a
montage of images, to show aspects of
school life. You could also use it for special
promotions or competitions.

Allow 90 pixels space either side of the image


as this can be cropped out on mobile phone
screens (the grey area indicated).

For Twitter, the main areas that can be


customized are:

A. Profile photo. Use the 3D IH globe.

B. Header image. You can upload an


appropriate image into this area to reflect
your school or your own personality,
depending on how you choose to use Twitter.

For Instagram, the only areas that can be


customized are:

A. Profile picture. Use the 3D IH globe.

B. Shared images or shared videos are the


images you post to promote your school.

Posts.

There are no strict guidelines for producing a


social media post.

However, if you use the brand elements to


create a post then ensure that the design
follows these basic rules:

Brand mark positioning


The IH brand mark should be placed top left.
Match the size of the IH brand mark in the post
header.

Language rainbow
You may use either version A or version B but it
must be used in complete sections or multiples
of sections, starting with red on the left and
yellow on the right (see page 1.12).

Typography
Use FS Rufus for all text. There is no defined
position or size of text. You can mix sizes and
weights for impact.
