ACT TWO – EXPERIMENT


The protagonist pursues the first thing they must do in this new situation,
experimenting with the new way of understanding the world and exhibiting new
behaviour.

ACT THREE - CONSEQUENCES


With the first course of action completed, the protagonist behaves more boldly
according to their new understanding, only to suffer a setback.

ACT FOUR - DISASTER


The protagonist rejects the new understanding, returning to their old flawed
behaviour, but this leads to things getting much worse…

TURNING POINT 2 – CRISIS


The protagonist is nearly defeated and learns they must commit to the new
understanding and behaviour no matter what.

ACT FIVE – CLIMAX & RESOLUTION


Embracing the new understanding, the protagonist pursues a final effort to achieve
their goal. Reveal what happens to them, and every supporting character, afterwards.
