Welcome to TCIB “Internet Service Arrangement” learning unit.

An External User for


internet banking could be created using the Arrangement.
This course guides on creating internet and proxy service arrangement. Also it
throws light on creating the external user to login into TCIB.
After completing this learning unit, you will be able to:

INTERNET.SERVICES Product Line
• The product line “INTERNET.SERVICES” is licensed under the product AI.
• The property class CUSTOMER holds the owning customer details, USER.RIGHTS
contains USER.SMS.GROUP settings of the owning customer, PRODUCT.ACCESS
contains the information on the accounts and the category of accounts accessible for
internet banking, PROTECTION.LIMIT holds the transaction amount limit in internet
banking, the CHANGE.PRODUCT allows the customer to opt for another product from
the existing product. The UI.APPEARANCE and UI.BEHAVIOUR is not applicable in
TCIB.

New Arrangement - Retail
• An Internet Service Arrangement is made between the bank and customer of the
bank who is going to use the Personal Internet Banking service.

• An Internet Service Arrangement is made between the bank and customer of the
bank who is going to use the Personal Internet Banking service.

• The external user of internet banking should have a valid record in T24
CUSTOMER application.
• For the existing Customer of the bank a new internet service arrangement can
be created by drilling down to the arrangement creation menu as shown in the
screenshot.
• For Retail Internet Banking the product Personal User has to be selected.

Arrangements are created through activities. The Id displayed is NOT the id of
the arrangement but the id of the activity that creates the arrangement. Note the
prefix AAACT denoting AA Activity.

The Arrangement parameters are shown, with default values populated by the
Product Conditions. These values may be changed and it depends on
arrangement links and negotiation rules.

• The ‘Customer’ property defaults the owner of the arrangement.
• The Daily Protection limit helps to set the maximum amount allowed for a day
transactions and the allowed currency for transactions.
• The ‘User Rights’ property provides the access rights of the user and it is
defined in the USER.SMS.GROUP application.
• The TC-Home value in the user rights tab should be set to TC-PERSONAL.

• The ‘Account Category Transaction’ and ‘Account Transaction’ helps to set the
category and the customer’s accounts under that category for transactions.
Likewise the ‘Account Category See’ and ‘Account See’ enable only viewing of
the account in a particular category. The ‘Account Exclude’ option enables
exclusion of customer’s accounts from transactions.
• The ‘Product Group Transaction’ and ‘Product Transaction’ provides the list of
product groups like loans and deposit and it’s products like 3 months deposit, 6
months deposit that could be involved in a transaction. The Product Group See
and Product See enables only viewing of such product groups and it’s
products.

Create a Personal Internet Banking User
The user record for internet banking can be created in two ways using menu as
shown in the screenshot or by using the EB.EXTERNAL.USER application.

A customer can be registered for Internet Banking via EB.EXTERNAL.USER application.
The arrangement ID created should be passed in the EB.EXTERNAL.USER record.

Load the TCIB browser. Enter the uid (example: EXTUSER) and the password.
(The password is 123456, hardcoded in DSF)
A welcome page would appear as shown in the screenshot. This screenshot is for
an external user who does not have LDAP login configured.

PROXY.SERVICES Product Line
• In corporate internet banking a proxy arrangement has to be made first stating that
an authorized person would be accessing the internet banking on behalf of a
corporate.
• Once the proxy arrangement has been made, an internet service arrangement has to
be made to provide access to the proxy for internet banking.

• The product line “PROXY.SERVICES” is licensed under the product AP.
• The property classes CUSTOMER holds the owning customer information i.e. the
proxy, the PROXY.PERMISSIONS holds the information on allowed customer and the
proxy arrangement made with each allowed customer as well as the access
information for the proxy on the financial accounts of the allowed customer and the
CHANGE.PRODUCT allows to opt for another product from the existing product.

New Arrangement - Corporate
• The Corporate Customer as well as the Corporate user of internet banking
should have a valid record in T24 CUSTOMER application.
• Here the customer 111415 acts as a proxy.
• For Corporate Internet Banking the product Proxy Permission has to be
selected.

• The Customer property holds the Corporate Customer ID and the Intermediary
tab holds the proxy Customer ID who is acting on behalf of the Corporate.

• An internet service arrangement has to be created to the proxy in order to use
the internet banking solution on behalf of the corporate.
• The User Rights should have the USER.SMS.GROUP set for the proxy.
• The Allowed Customer field should have corporate customer id on behalf of
which the proxy would be using internet services
• The Proxy Arrangement field should contain the PROXY.SERVICES
arrangement Id created for this proxy.
• TC.HOME settings personalizes the main user profile to be used.(i.e Clerk,
Manager,etc.)
• TC.OPERATIONS is used to define the role operation. These settings
determine what the user gets to view when they access the product (i.e Bulk
payments, Letter of Credit, etc)
