How do we LIMIT.CHANGE for GROUP LIMIT?

For setting up a group limit structure for a particular group i.e. Liability group, the group head should be the self-liable for himself and also a liable customer for his group
members. In general customer, liability is set through CUSTOMER.LIABILITY field of CUSTOMER. But this field is a no change field which means it can be input only when the
customer is inputted for first time. Once the customer is authorised it cannot be changed. Hence LIMIT.CHANGE application is used to modify CUSTOMER.LIABILITY at any
point of time.
Here are the steps to form a group limit,
1. Determine the customer who is going to be the head of the group and make himself liable.
2. Determine the customers who are all going to be part of that group (i.e. group members) and make the group head liable for them.
3. Create a LIMIT record with four part id.

Ex: Liability number.Limit reference.Serial no.Customer number

Here is an example, The customer 100160 (group head) was created without the CUSTOMER.LIABILITY. To set a group limit/ liability group head should be self liable.

2. Removal of group members through LIMIT.CHANGE

In addition to adding the group member through LIMIT.CHANGE, removal of group members is also possible through LIMIT.CHANGE.
To achieve this remove the Liability of group members through LIMIT.CHANGE, which will delete the four-part limit created for the group member and will newly rebuild the

3. Additional functionalities through LIMIT.CHANGE

In addition to add/remove customer liability for group limit,
• No change fields related to LIMIT,LIMIT.REFERENCE can be modified through LIMIT.CHANGE application at any point of time.
• Nochange fields like LIMIT.CURRENCY,CHECK.LIMIT can be modified for any limit record by specifying the limit id in CREDIT.LINE.NO field of LIMIT.CHANGE.
• PERCENTAGE,LIMIT.BAND.LEVEL,MATURITY.PERIOD,LIMIT.SUBR,PERCENTAGE.CAP,PERCENTAGE.FLR,PERCENTAGE.CALC.BASIS can be modified for any LIMIT.REFERENCE product
by specifying the limit reference in LIMIT.REFERENCE field of LIMIT.CHANGE.
