SUB: Introduction of new product code – 880 for Kisan Credit Card Scheme Working
capital for Animal Husbandry and Fisheries.

Attention of Branches/Offices is invited to HO Cir 214/2019 and 221/2019 on KCC

facility to farmers undertaking Animal Husbandry and Fisheries for their Working
Capital requirements. Further, vide HO Cir. 630/2020 dated 25.08.2020 we have
instructed the branches to open the subject loans under product code 230 (KCCS
ANIMAL HUSBANDRY AND FISHERIES).

Now, for automation of Interest Subvention up to Rs. 2 lakh in KCC Animal Husbandry
scheme, wing has now created separate Product Code – 880 for KCC animal husbandry

and fisheries. The revised/updated scheme guidelines are attached as Annexure I to

this circular.

Branches/Offices are requested to take note of the above guidelines and ensure
opening of new loan accounts in product code 880 from 01.04.2023 onwards with
correct MIS codes.
