Nov’ 2020

I am an educator with over 26 years of experience which includes over 14 years in The
Millennium School, Dubai and 3years 8 months as Head of Section/ Headmaster [6-12 boys]
in New Indian Model School, Dubai and currently serving as the Vice Principal at The Indian
Excellent Private School, Sharjah since June’2019.

As an innovative and resourceful Math teacher, having taught grades 8-12, I am proud to say
that I have made a meaningful difference in the lives of my students not only as a teacher but
also as a role model. I have fostered meaningful relationships with students, staff and parents
through my interpersonal and communication skills.

I joined TMS, Dubai in the year 2001 as their first overseas recruit. The pupil strength then
was a mere 80 students. I had been a part of every aspect of the school’s evolution into one of
the premier schools in UAE with pupil strength of over 3000. I have played vital roles as a
Core-Committee member in Hamdan Awards & DSIB inspections. I had also taken up
management level responsibilities as Afternoon Activities Coordinator, The Millennium Magic
(Summer Camp) Coordinator and Events’ Coordinator and House Master. I was also the in-
charge of all CBSE registration processes for Grades (9-12). I resigned as an Asst. Supervisor
from TMS, Dubai after serving as an officiating Supervisor for 8 months to accept the role of
Head of Section, Boys in NIMS, Dxb.

As a Head of Section at NIMS, Dxb, which I joined on 15th March’15, I led the boys’ section
and assisted the Principal in 4 DSIB inspections. In these years of my tenure, my Section’s
ratings have improved to Good, Very Good or Outstanding (PSD) in the various performance
Indicators. Only Arabic remained acceptable in Phases 3 & 4. I have led the school in the
Teaching, Assessment & Learning Skills and Curriculum Adaptation Standard/Indicator apart
from being responsible for Math & School Self Evaluation. I have also framed the school SIP
for 4 years and the Action Plans including National Agenda. I have put in place the Student
Progress tracker, teacher tracking and monitoring systems in coordination with the other
Heads of Sections and the various subject HODs. I put the Wave system for SEND students in
place in the school and coordinated it for a year before the appointment of a SEND
Coordinator. In the 2018 DSIB inspections our school has moved up to “GOOD” in
Assessments in Ph2 and Curriculum Adaptation in Ph2 and 3. We also moved up 2 places
from “Below Expectations” to “Meeting Expectations” in the National Agenda Parameter. I was
responsible for these areas and in receipt of appreciation letter from the School Principal.

In my current assignment since 24th Jun’19, as Vice Principal, IES, Sharjah which was rated
“Weak” in the SPEA inspections just before my appointment, I have already brought in
strategic differences and the Inspection Review Visit in Feb’2020, rated the school progress as
“Satisfactory” , which is credible. The school for the first time had an honest self-evaluation,
short and long term SIP and result analysis. All essential systems, committees and policies are
in place in the school now.
In the absence of the Principal since Mar’2020, I have conceived, planned and designed the
entire Distance Learning Programme of the school. We have been rated “DEVELOPED” in all
the 13 Themes in the Distance Learning Evaluation by SPEA in June’2020.

As an avid learner, I have never missed an opportunity to attend workshops organized by

KHDA, SPEA and other prominent educational organizations like GL Education. I have trained
the teachers in various topics needed to meet the requirements of DSIB inspections. Trained
by GL in CAT4, I have trained teachers at my school in the various aspects of CAT4. I have
also trained the leaders of The Central School, Dubai on various aspects of the inspections. I
have conducted a workshop on “Teaching & Assessment” for the teachers and leaders of the
schools of Northern Emirates, organized by the GULF COUNCIL OF CBSE PRINCIPALS, UAE
CHAPTER at Pace International School, Sharjah and also for “Assessments & Data Analysis”
in GULF ASIAN SCHOOL, SHARJAH.

I am experienced in developing curriculum as well as conducting parenting programs. Skilled

in adapting to students' diverse learning styles I also possess incomparable capability of
preparing daily lessons in accordance with the guidelines of the school’s education system.
The post of a Vice Principal puts me in an appropriate position to share and use my
experience to the benefit of the whole school and take it forward in the inspection ratings.
Given an opportunity, I promise to serve the school with all sincerity, commitment and
passion to put all my mite and experience towards the growth of the school as a premier
holistic education provider in the region.

Warm regards
