MODEL 8
Model 8 L.E.D lamps are flush mounted units that comply with the ADR
requirements for front and rear end outline marker lamps. (A white courtesy
lamp is also available, refer page 283). All lamps feature multi-voltage 90 15
circuitry to suit 12 or 24 volt operation and hard-wired cable in
0.5 or 2.5 metre lengths. A gasket, mounting screws and screw
caps are included. While the low profile nature of these lamps 25
protects them from damage, so too does the virtually unbreakable
polycarbonate lens. Rated for 100,000 hours of L.E.D life, these 11
lamps are covered by a 5 year warranty. Current Draw: 0.02A at 10–30V

MODEL 15 MARKER LAMPS
Model 15 L.E.D lamps are sonically sealed providing protection against
dust, dirt, moisture and corrosion and feature virtually unbreakable

polycarbonate lenses. With the use of L.E.Ds they have low current 50.8 11.5
draw and 100,000 hours of operation. Utilising the same plug and lead
as the ‘globe type’ 15 series sealed lamps they are easy to retro-fit 38
without the need for tools or additional wiring. Note all mounting Mounting

Model 16 L.E.D lamps feature multi-voltage circuitry to suit 12 or
24 volt operation and cover a wide range of ADR applications using 74 28
one common lamp body. The 16 series lamps can utilise any of the
15 series mounting bases. This not only gives the lamp a different 38
appearance but provides a wide range of mounting options. Made Mounting

Model 18 lamps are approved to the side marker ADR 74/00 that allows a side
marker to be all amber and outward facing. This has allowed us to develop
and offer lamps that are ultra slim and incorporate in-built, ADR 47/00 41
approved retro reflectors. This saves the additional cost and space required to

fit a reflector and makes the lamp ideal for buses and trailer bodies where a 114
low profile lamp is often more desirable. The lamps are sonically sealed, have

Model 20 L.E.D lamps are sonically sealed acrylic lamps with a multi-voltage
circuitry of 10–30V and hard-wired leads. Less expensive than the flush

mounted polycarbonate 18 series lamps, the 20 series are a low profile
surface mounted alternative. These lamps 39

Whilst Model 31 lamps can be used individually as
front or rear end outline marker lamps, they were
specifically designed to be used in combination as
a direct retro-fit replacement for Australia’s most
popular incandescent side marker lamps. Although
much more sleek and modern in design than the
incandescent version, P/No. 85720 (refer page 258),
the mounting holes and footprint are identical.
The lamps feature multi-voltage circuitry and are
sonically sealed with durable PMMA lenses combined
with a heavy-duty neoprene housing. Available as a
red/amber lamp (P/No. 93110) or as amber/amber Current Draw: 93110: 0.11A at 9–33V
(P/No. 93112) which offers a brighter ADR approved Amber: 0.05A at 9–33V
side indicator solution by the nature of forward and Red: 0.05A at 9–33V

Since July 2000, all new truck and bus designs require fitment of a very
bright lamp known as a Category 6 side turn indicator. The Model 33 140
not only meets these very difficult light requirements of “E” and ADR 124
(using an array of specially selected and positioned L.E.Ds) but also
passes as a brighter Category 5 lamp for trailer applications. The 65 71
nature of the Category 6 lamp output requirements normally means
these lamps require a separate left and right hand unit. The Narva unit
has overcome this issue and one unit can be used for both left and
right sides. The Model 33 is also multi-voltage with a virtually 49
unbreakable polycarbonate lens, sonically sealed housing and
hard-wired with 0.5m of sheathed cable. Available in either a black or
chrome snap in mounting base with an integrated gasket making

just 8 high powered L.E.Ds to suit a price sensitive home trailer market and the manufacturers
of campers, small trailers and mobile road service equipment. Model 34 lamps are made in the
same shape and dimensions as the popular incandescent lamp

SUBMERSIBLE TRAILER LAMP KITS
The majority of L.E.D lamps are termed
‘sealed’ and would seem appropriate for
applications such as boat trailers. Sealing
the lamp is not enough to ensure a lamp
is submersible, as water can still enter the
lamp via the connecting cables or via a pin
hole in the sealing process as a result of
‘capillary action’. The Model 36 and Model
42 lamps (see page 323) are 100% tested
after the sealing process and cables are
sealed at the entry point of the lamp but
it is still recommended to avoid joining
the cables near the lamp or in a position
where they are in contact with water.

MODEL 70 LAMPS
Model 70 is a direct L.E.D replacement for incandescent lamp P/No. 86790 (refer page 264).
It shares the same mounting holes and wrap around footprint for a quick upgrade to a lamp that
offers the intense output, low current draw and the reliability of L.E.D. The incandescent version is made of
acrylic plastic and, with such a large surface area, is prone to lens damge. The reliability aspect of Model 70
is further enhanced with a virtually unbreakable polycarbonate lens and 5 year warranty against L.E.D failure.
The lamp meets both “E” and ADR as a front indicator and is commonly used on trucks and buses.
