Abstract

A person would like to enter the electrical field because it may interest them and the demand in

this field is high. Becoming an Electrician involves either doing a 4-year apprenticeship or

attending a 2-year technical college. After doing the 4-year apprenticeship, one will take a test,

and completing it will allow the test taker a Journeyman license.

Another important thing, the electrical trade is growing at about 9.1% and there are about 200

annual job openings. Electricians make an average of $24.47 an hour.
