Teenagers and young people should share housework equally with their parents. Do you
agree?
As we all hear and know, housework should be shared equally. But in many cases, it is not
that way parents do most of it. However, I believe everyone should do it evenly.
Young people spend most of their time studying at school or college and, when they do get
home, they also have homework. On the other hand, parents go to work and arrive home
tired. With all this hectic schedule for them both, housework must be done regardless. I
think if everyone does a little it would be quicker and fairer.
Usually, we all assume that parents do house tasks better than younger people. And that
might be correct, but the less experienced ones should learn from them, so this assumption
is not always right.
In the end, most times, parents do more housework because of the responsibility and
maturity needed for it. However, it should not be that way. My saying on this subject is: "if
you use it, clean it" and that is all it needs to be said.
