Subject Outcomes:
This term, in the standard of Number Operation, students learned
about fractions on the number line. They wrote fractions in their simplest form.
After that, students compared, ordered, added and subtracted fractions with
the like denominator.
In the standard of Measurement, students explored the understanding
of measurement using non-standard units into measurement using standard units.
Students have to understand that measurement is a number that shows the size
or amount of something. Students measured length, volume and mass using
appropriate tools in standard units then they compared and ordered them.
Students estimated lengths using units of centimeters, and meters, masses using
units of grams or kilograms, volumes using liters. Moreover, students learned
about angel and temperature, measured perimeter, area, time and money then
solved Math word problems about measurement.
