Introduction

The main topic of this report is to focus on the personal effective place to understand my own

personal areas of concern to increase my personal skills. This report is going to focus on the

skills and behaviours of Mark Zuckerberg to understand that can allow me to understand the

different entrepreneurship skills and attributes. It will also focus on the personal effectiveness

framework to understand the personal attributes of the chosen entrepreneur. Task 2 will focus on

the evolutions of learning styles that can be helpful for me to manage my own personal qualities

and activities according to my own learning styles. Task 3 will focus on the comparison of

methods for improving skills and it will also identify the similarities and differences between the

two methods to understand the effective place of using these methods for enhancing my personal

development skill sets.

Task 1: Case Study Review

Identifying skills and behaviour

Mark Zuckerberg always focuses on the critical thinking skills that basically help him to be

disruptive for maximizing the value of the idea. The entrepreneur always tries to take the time to

think more critically to dig deeper into the different options and ideas that can suit the problems

or concept. Mark Zuckerberg also focused on problem-solving skills because problem-solving

skills are also important for solving different problems while working in different business

situations. The better idea basically helps to solve each and every problem for the consumers and

the business which is very important for getting the enhanced leadership qualities to manage the

operations of the company (Alah et al., 2022). Effective communication is one of the most

important skills Mark Zuckerberg has because it is seen that he always tries to manage his

effective communication skills to increase the interactions between people as well as it is also
3
helpful for him to foster better relationships with the consumers through their service-oriented

business Facebook. The effective communication skills of this entrepreneur basically help him to

understand the different needs of the employees as well as it is also helpful for being an effective

leader in the current competitive world. The path-goal theory will be the best explanation for

showcasing the behavioural traits by focusing on the work climate and its objective to develop

the satisfaction of the employees to increase the motivation for evaluating productivity.

Usages of these skills by Mark Zuckerberg and their usefulness and limitations

Mark Zuckerberg uses critical thinking skills to critically understand the environment of the

workplace to innovate and create new types of ideas. Creative thinking skills are always useful

because it helps to work on different options to get a better chance for introducing a new

innovative idea that can be helpful for getting the competitive edge in the modern market trends.

It also has its limitation because critical thinking skills sometimes come up as a complex thought

process that eventually restricts this entrepreneur to think about the simplest solutions to the

problem (Bakker and van Wingerden, 2021).

The problem-solving skill is also useful for Mark Zuckerberg because Mark Zuckerberg always

uses it to interact with their employees because it is going to be helpful for him to interact with

his employees. Effective communication skill also helps him to foster a better relationship with

the suppliers and the consumers to get a better chance to attract more consumers to use their

services. For example, if any problem occurs in Facebook that is not resolved by the executive,

then the entrepreneur is going to solve the problem on his own with the relevant solutions. The

problem-solving skills are always useful because it helps to solve real-life problems in the

company but on the other hand, it takes extra time to solve the problem in the problematic

context.

4
The different aspects are related to effective communication skills. Effective communication

skills basically allow the entrepreneur to increase communication as well as it is also helpful for

him to understand the willingness of the team members towards the company. For example, if

the senior executive department heads try to leave the job, then this entrepreneur always focuses

on his effective communication skill to communicate with them about their problems to solve

them for retaining skilled people (Beevi et al., 2022).

Effective communication skills also have their usefulness because the entrepreneur can easily use

the communication methods for building trust. Moreover, it is also helpful for the entrepreneur to

be an effective leader while managing the relationship with various suppliers and employees to

make changes to the working procedures.

The behavioural traits of Mark Zuckerberg also allow him to motivate his employees. The rates

of his behaviour basically focus on the path-goal theory where he gets the opportunity to work on

the directions to reach the goals. Moreover, he also gets the opportunity to focus on the social

responsibilities to manage the group relationships. The behavioural traits basically allow Mark

Zuckerberg to develop an enhanced relationship with all the entrepreneurs and leaders in the

company. For example, if any type of workplace conflict is arising in Facebook, then Mark

Zuckerberg always tries to communicate their visions and his importance for the growth of the

company that eventually helping him to manage his sensitivity to his people as well as it also

helps him to manage the company's growth (de Araujo et al., 2021). However, these behavioural

skills also have their limitations because it is clarified that the behaviour skill has dominant

tendencies that can come up as a huge disadvantage for the entrepreneur.

5
Personal Brand Dimensions

Mark Zuckerberg always tries to focus on the personal brand diamond sense because it is very

helpful for him to showcase the recognized and largely uniform perceptions of his experiences

and competencies among the consumers and organizations. The Facebook page of this

entrepreneur has more than 80 million followers which basically helps him to build a brand

which can be trusted by the people. The enriched competencies of Mark Zuckerberg allow him to

create his personal brand where he gets the opportunity for straightening his brand vision with

the help of his own strength and skill sets. The entrepreneur also gets the opportunity to work on

his passions with computers and programs that basically helps him to grow his social footprint to

reflect specials on the social networking platforms which helps him to be a personal brand to

attract new consumers with his face value and brand identity (Isaacs et al., 2022).

Task 2: Personal learning styles

I always focus on the learning styles of visual auditory learners because these are the main

learning style that I have adopted for understanding the subject configurations. The attributes

related to the visual learning style basically allow me to work on the visualized context of the

subject-specific courses. It also allows me to understand each and every concept of the subject-

specific areas through the images that are showcased by the teacher (Whittington et al., 2022). I

get catered by the teachers with the help of handouts and presentations because it helps me to

absorb the information within little time and space. The visual learning attributes have their own

strength that always helps me to get the opportunity for remembering 75% of the information

that I have seen or read. As I also get the opportunity to get the details through vivid imagination

on the pictures as well as it is also helpful for me to immediately recall each and every word that

is presented visually. This style also has its limitations because it is seen that I can get easily

6
destructed with colourful images of the presentation and I can miss the key points of the

subject-related attributes. I do not have a wider grip on my muscle memory and for this

reason, I also face different types of problems to study different subject-specific areas. I get

enhanced opportunities for increasing my personal activities where I can use the flowcharts and

models to get theoretical knowledge of the subject-specific area. For example, if I get to know

about the image-based information in the subject-specific area then I am going to use the visual

images of the presentation slides to recall the information which eventually allows me to enhance

my academic grade. These activities basically allow me to summarise the key points of the

information for evidencing my academic writings on the subject-specific topic [refer to appendix

for the questionaries].

The attribute and the concepts of the auditory learning process are also known and handled by

me. I always learn better when the subject matter is revolving around the attributes of sound. I

always try to use my effective listening skill to listen to the lecture to read the written notes as

well as it is also helpful for me to focus on the concepts and ideas in an accurate way to verbally

explain things. The teachers always help me to focus on my auditory learning process you going

to focus by providing audio tips and showcasing videos with sounds that are interrelated with the

subject information. The aspects related to the auditory learning process have their own

advantages. The aspects related to the auditory learning process basically allow me to enhance

my critical listening and thinking skills. Moreover, it also helps me to enhance my thinking and

comprehensive skills to work on the brainstorming stations which eventually allow me to

improve my focus and pay better attention to get a comprehensive memory (Lio et al., 2021).

However, it also has its limitations because I face different types of problems in processing

large amounts of detailed written information or instructions as well as I cannot

7
concentrate in noisy environments eventually decreases my performance as an auditory

learner. The teachers also face different types of problems for me because it is seen that I

am comfortable with hearing information but the classroom environment can easily get

distracted because there are other students in the area who are not committed to hearing

and understanding information. I also get the opportunity to enhance my personal attributes

with the help of auditory learning activities. For example, I always try to read the homework

directions out loud that is very important for me to record the facts on the key specific areas of

the given work that is very important for managing the practical activities for being auditory

learn to get the specific set of information with the help of audios.

Task 3: Comparison of methods of improving skills

Two methods for improving my skills

I have to focus on the most comprehensive and critical method to improve my skills in different

learning areas that eventually allow me to be enhanced by personal attributes. In the first session,

I have to observe others for overcoming my fears because fear can prevent me from growing

and progressing and for this reason, fear needed to be overcome for making good decisions as

well as it is also helpful for building my confidence that is very important for getting the

comfortable world approaches to enhance my personal skill sets.

The second method will revolve around the areas of feedback because it is clarified that the

feedbacks are the best way to improve my skill sets. For example, if I am lacking in

communication skills then the feedback on the communications can allow me to communicate

the right things and the enhanced communication skill is helpful for me to meet my personal

attributes. The feedback on the recent projects also allows me to use the positive comments as

constructive criticism to find better ways to improve (Luo et al., 2021). Feedback also allows me

8
to gather information on learning practices from my peers which is going to be helpful for

focusing on unbiased opinions to get a different perspective for enhancing my skill set.

Identify the similarities and differences between the two methods

perspectives (Lynn et al., 2022).

Discuss which method would be more effective for developing skills and why

According to reading resources, it is clarified that feedbacks are the best way to effectively

develop my personal and professional skill set. Feedbacks basically allow me to focus on the

listening attributes to listen to different areas of concern where I needed to be improved. I also

get a proper time frame to analyze the skill gaps which is very important for me to announce my

critical thinking skill to work on the best solutions to improve the focus and results for evaluating

my effective development skills. Feedback is also helpful for me to facilitate my different areas

to work on the consequent way for managing my role to improve my professional skill gap

(Stojanova et al., 2021).

10
Conclusion

From the descriptions, it is clarified at personal effectiveness attributes are very important for

managing the entrepreneur's skill sets. I also get the opportunity to understand that as a visual

and auditory learner I need to focus on the different images and audios for gathering the proper

information that is interrelated with my subject topic. The analysis of the personal effects of

Mark Zuckerberg helps me to understand that an entrepreneur should focus on behavioural trades

and enhance critical thinking and problem-solving skills that are needed to be improved to

overcome all the problems that are interrelated with modern businesses. Hence, the methods of

overcoming fear and using feedback are also helpful for me to announce my personal and

professional skills in an accurate way. It helps me to identify the areas of skill gaps that are going

to be important for enhancing my personal skills.
