BANAUE RICE TERASES

By Aiman Ameer Pia of 12 stem martin

The materials that I had used In my painting are all indigenous to corporate the beauty of Banaue rice
terases, I used coffee as an alternative paint and kutcha cloth as my blank Canva. The painting describes
hard work of Filipino people and how creative they can be , and that’s why I made Banaue Rice terases
as my reference not because its beautiful view but also it a trophy of our ancestors who made that hand
in hand , they made legacy through hard work and for that I salute them , I had always imagine rice
terases was an odd shaped mountain , and later I realize that is why it is unique , actually not only that
the colors in my painting also describes as Filipino the message in this colors is that “no matter what
raise ,color , or ethnic group you belong to you are still and always will be so never let anyone’s
judgement belittle you , another is that since Banaue is one of the renowned as 7 wonders of the world.
I also used coffee as my paint due to uniqueness to the painting if you asked me I really think it’s a
beautiful piece of work and one to be save on the book .
