OBJECTIVES:
This lesson will explain the steps for how to make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.

STEPS TEACHER GUIDE STUDENT GUIDE TIME

1 Advise students that Ask your parent for 1 minute

they should ask for permission to make a

2 Gather all ingredients Plate, butter knife, 3 minutes

and supplies. spoon, 2 slices of
bread, peanut butter,
jelly, glass, jug of
milk, napkin.

3 Spread peanut butter. Use the butter knife to 1 minute

spread peanut butter
on one slice of bread.

4 Spread jelly. Use spoon to spread 1 minute

jelly on the other slice
of bread.

5 Put together and cut. Put both slices of 1 minute

bread together. Use
butter knife to cut in
half.

6 It’s ready! Pour a glass of milk 10 minutes

and enjoy!

7 Clean up. Be sure to clean up 3 minutes

your mess afterwards.
