it.” As Toni Morrison once remarked. This quote best
represents us all who are present here today. We are
writers and artists with unique talents, and abilities
generous enough to share to our learners.

To our ever-supportive SDS, Ma’am Socorro V. Dela Rosa,


to our amazing CID chief, Ma’am Jily Roces, To the
Queen of this activity, our very own Education Program
Supervisor for Mother Tongue and Kindergarten, Ma’am
Jennifer Bordeos, Writers, Illustrators, Layout
Artists, Editors, QA Team, keynote Speakers, ladies and
gentlemen, GOOD MORNING! Welcome to The Division
workshop on the Development and Quality Assurance of
Wordless Books!

How was your sleep? Can you tap the shoulder of the
person on your right, and say Good Morning, thank you
for being here. Now, the person on your left. Alright,
I think everyone’s ready.

To begin, let us put ourselves in the presence of GOD


for the invocation to be led by Ma’am Geshiel Ballaran,
Teacher from TSCES. This will be followed by the
singing of Tabaco City Hymn. Please all stand.

Thank you so much po. At this juncture, to see if


everyone is here now, (adlib, baka pasigawin din tayo
ng darna ni ma’am ) may I call on Ma’am Cristita
Beguiras, our Librarian for the checking of attendance.

Now, let us listen to the Wonder woman of this event,


the lovely and gorgeous as always Ma’am Jennifer
Bordeos for her welcome message. Let us give Ma’am Jen
a warm applause.

Before we proceed with our tasks as writers and
illustrators, it is but right to tackle the topic
“Copyright Management” since it is designed to make
sure that us creators receive appropriate rights of our
own ideas and creativity.

The best person to discuss these matters pertaining to


copyright management is no other than, Atty. Catherine
P. Besmonte, PDO

For us to avoid stereotypes and help develop in


learners such desirable values as nationalism, moral
uprightness, inclusivity, and among others, let us pay
attention as our Education Program Supervisor- Learning
Resources Management System (LRMS) will share to us the
Social Content Guidelines that we must consider in
writing and our conceptualizing our stories. Let us all
welcome the beautiful, Ma’am Merlita B. Camu.

Our next speaker for today will surely inculcate to us


a lot of insights on how our human experiences and
writings will turn into something that is pleasing to
our learners’ imagination. He will be talking about
another essential and interesting topic, the Visual
Arts Management. Let me now give the microphone to Sir
Jason C. Borabo, Teacher of Mayon Elementary School.
