Grade 2 ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT ON

BIGADA ESKWELA 2023
GRADE 2
S.Y. 2022 – 2023

Anchored with this year’s theme, “Bayanihan Para sa MATATAG na

Paaralan”, the Brigada Eskwela or Schools Maintenance Week was
participated by the supportive parents (from the Grade 2 Class), students,
volunteers and generous donors who contributed their time and effort to
ensure a clean, safe, inclusive, and child-friendly learning environment for the
pupils and teachers.
The Brigada Eskwela has been an annual practice in all DepEd schools
as well as in Sua-Igot Elementary School. This is in partnership with the
parents and other stakeholders who took part in the implementation of the
program and to support its aim to promote a school and classrooms conducive
to learning.
The Grade 2 Parents through the leadership of the Class Adviser,
Brigada Coordinator and the School Head participated during the Brigada Kick
Off held last August 16, 2023. They enjoyed the Zumba and the Gift Giving
Activity. Then, they proceed to the Grade 2 Classroom to make sure that the
room is ready for the opening of the school year.
The volunteers removed the clutter, repainted some parts of the walls,
washed the curtains, and other classroom clean-up, repair, and gardening,
among others. They really showed the spirit of volunteerism as they unite to
accomplish those tasks.
This year’s Brigada Eskwela emphasized the school’s Project SWEAR
(Sua-Igot ES Wins Engagement Assistance and Recovery) wherein it ensures
the commitment, partnership, engagement, support and participation of all
stakeholders and community by offering their skills, sharing their time and
providing their assistance in-kind to make the school ecologically conscious,
resilient, clean and conducive to learning.
This Brigada Eskwela will not just end after the few weeks preparation
before the opening of classes, instead this will just serve as the beginning of us
